About Reed & Barton

Since 1824, Reed & Barton has been producing quality sterling silver, silverplate and stainless products for those with discriminating tastes. Throughout the company's history, Reed & Barton has been recognized for its dedication to craftsmanship and design excellence. In 1868, the company introduced its first patented flatware pattern, "Roman Medallion." Reed & Barton's signature flatware pattern "Francis I" was launched in 1908 and remains a favorite today. In 1996, Reed & Barton was selected to be the exclusive producer of the official gold, silver and bronze medals for the Summer Olympics held in Atlanta, Georgia. Reed & Barton's reputation was also recognized in 1998 when the company was chosen to redesign the prized Davis Cup, the annual tennis tournament award.
