Step 1
Choose two of the same finished molded ICE resin pieces. We chose two teardrop shapes from a resin mold.
Step 2
Using an emery board begin filing down the edges of the molded resin pieces.
Step 3
Keep filing the edges until the two molded pieces fit together evenly.
Step 4
Mix a small batch of resin. For more detailed instructions see Using ICE Resin with Bezel Pendants Technique.
Step 5
Place one of the molded resin pieces on a flat work surface with the back of the piece facing up.
Step 6
Slowly begin to pour a thin layer of ICE Resin over the back of the molded resin piece.
Step 7
Using a stir stick gently guide the thin layer of ICE Resin over the back of the molded resin piece until it is evenly covered. Make sure the ICE Resin goes all the way to the edges.
Step 8
Gently place the second molded resin piece on top of the first molded resin piece. Make sure they match up evenly
Step 9
Let the ICE Resin fully cure for a minimum of three days.
Step 10
Congratulations! You have now combined two molded ICE Resin pieces to use in your jewelry designs.
